Construction Manager
Our growing company is seeking to hire a Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of projects and work with Sr Management to provide consulting services. A private office in a newly renovated office space with various working stations, lounging areas, pantry with espresso bar, mothers room, private call rooms, and conference room is provided. The office has Enhanced Cleaning, social distancing measures in place, signage for directional traffic flow, and touchless faucets and restrooms. Teleworking is an option due to COVID-19 and is acceptable on a day to day basis during normal working conditions. We aim to be as progressive as possible and encourage utilizing technology to streamline our business.
Responsibilities:

Meeting with owner, engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.

Managing and motivating teams.

Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors, materials and equipment aren’t exceeded.

Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time, and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety and all other regulations.

Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

Conducting ongoing quality inspections.

Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses

Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field

5+years of construction management experience.

Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Project

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Outstanding negotiation, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
